It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, and designed by Lal Chand Usta in the structure of the tiara of Krishna, the Hindu god. Today, Hawa Mahal gives the tourist in Jaipur with some venerable views of the city and a bird’s eye view of the Jantar Manta. Its matchless five-storey exterior is as well similar to the honeycomb of the beehive with its 953 small windows called jharokhas that are decorated with incomprehensible lattice work.
